Job Responsibility Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Analyze financial data and provide insightful reports to management, highlighting trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Coordinate and support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors. Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations, including the preparation and filing of tax returns. Implement and maintain accounting software systems, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency. Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting standards and regulations, and assess the impact on the company&aposs financial reporting. Job Requirements Bachelor&aposs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience in preparing financial statements and reports. Knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Experience in handling full set of accounts. Familiarity with audit processes and procedures.
