The Role Are you a financial enthusiast with a passion for precision We&aposre seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Senior Accountant / Accountant. The primary role is to provide month end and year-end financial reporting duties for the organisation. The day-to-day activities Ensure accurate and timely end of month accounts reporting for allocated entities (may include corporate entities, trusts and asset management funds). This will include but not limited to calculation of commission, bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, preparation of accrual and prepayments journals and review of intercompany transactions. Prepare calculations and documents for tax filings (direct and indirect tax) for entities in AU, PH, HK and MY Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements. Coordinate and liaise with auditors for mid-year and end of year audits. Train and supervise work performed by assistant accountants. Provide ad-hoc general support as required. Discretion as there will likely be sensitive information and figures discussed Ability to work to strict time constraints and meet deadlines Ability to adapt to a fast paced and demanding environment Requirement: Possess at least Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Professional certificate such as CPA, ACCA or equivalent. Minimum 4 years of accounting experience including month-end closing and full set of accounts will have an advantage. Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Accountant/ Account Executive role. Proficient in Microsoft office, particularly Excel and Cloud based technologies Knowledge of NetSuite or Microsoft Dynamics would be an added advantage Good command in spoken and written in English.
