We are looking for a meticulous and driven Finance & Accounts Senior Executive to join our growing team at NewParadigm . In this role, you'll be responsible for daily accounting operations, regulatory reporting, and compliance functions within a fast-paced financial services environment. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting to regulatory bodies (Bursa Malaysia, SC), and maintaining full compliance with industry standards. Job Responsibilities: EO Systems & Daily Operations Reconcile daily cash and online collections against system reports Process sales receipts, contra transactions, refunds, reversals, debit/credit notes, and set-offs Maintain proper documentation and handle payment/receipt enquiries (incl. SCANS & PHILIPS) Accounting (BC365 System) Record daily AP transactions and inter-branch journal entries Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations (Client Trust & Operating Accounts) Support month-end closing activities including accruals, prepayments, and journals Regulatory Reporting Prepare and submit reports to Bursa Malaysia and Securities Commission (SC), such as: Daily: ARMADA Weekly: LRM, Market Review Monthly: Investment Report, Securities Brokers Report, FIX BURSA, ISR Quarterly/Annual: FATCA, CRS, off-balance sheet, and other required submissions Participate in Bursa Malaysia mock runs and ensure timely compliance Accounts Payable & Cash Management Handle invoice verification, online payment processing, and bank confirmations Ensure timely payment of statutory obligations (WHT, SST, CP204) Manage REPO/FD placements and dividend distributions Prepare daily cash flow reports and debit notes for intercompany transactions General & Compliance Support audit, tax filing, and e-invoicing documentation Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve payment or invoicing issues Prepare client and remisier statements Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements (Bursa/SC/CMSA) Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Accounting, or a professional accounting qualification 1-2 years of working experience in the financial services industry Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Able to work independently and collaboratively to meet tight deadlines Experience handling full sets of accounts is an added advantage Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills Show more Show less
