Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance and Account Senior Executive/Assistant Manager to support day-to-day financial operations, reporting, and compliance. This role will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of financial data, maintaining accurate accounting records, managing payables and receivables, assisting in budgeting and forecasting, and supporting internal and external audits. Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements and management reports. Assist in analyzing financial performance against budgets and forecasts. Provide variance analysis and commentary to management. 2. General Ledger & Journal Entries Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system. Perform month-end and year-end closing activities. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. 3. Accounts Payable & Receivable Process supplier invoices, staff claims, and ensure timely payments. Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding collections. Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure proper cash flow management. 4. Budgeting & Forecasting Support the budgeting process, including data collection and compilation. Assist in preparing cash flow projections and funding requirements. 5. Compliance & Audit Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements (e.g., SST, income tax, audit). Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretary for statutory submissions and audit matters. Assist in implementing internal controls and ensuring adherence to SOPs. 6. Other Duties Support ad hoc financial analysis, projects, and process improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., procurement, operations, HR) to ensure accuracy of financial data. Keep up to date with accounting standards and relevant regulatory changes. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ICAEW) is an advantage. Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience. Prior experience in month-end closing is required. Audit background is preferred. Knowledge & Skills: Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities. Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, especially during reporting periods. Self-motivated and proactive with a methodical approach to work. Demonstrates integrity and maintains confidentiality of sensitive information. Effective team player with strong interpersonal skills.
