The Trade Marketing Manager develops and executes strategic trade marketing initiatives. The aim is to drive sales, enhance brand visibility, and build strong retail partnerships. This role heavily emphasizes collaboration with sales and marketing teams to ensure excellent market execution.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive trade marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives and brand priorities for the retail channel.
  • Lead the execution of retail shopper marketing programs, promotions, and initiatives across various retail formats.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key retail partners, collaborating with their marketing and merchandising teams to identify joint business opportunities and tailor programs to specific retailer needs and shopper insights.
  • Work closely with sales and category management teams to leverage shopper insights and category trends to develop compelling trade stories and merchandising recommendations.
  • Oversee the development and deployment of effective in-store point-of-sale materials, displays, and other shopper marketing tools that drive conversion.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of trade marketing programs, providing post-mortem analysis and recommending improvements for future initiatives.
  • Collaborate effectively with brand marketing, sales, finance, supply chain, and insights teams to ensure seamless execution of programs and alignment of objectives.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in trade marketing within the FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful trade marketing programs that deliver measurable results.
  • Strong understanding of the retail landscape, shopper journey, and key drivers of purchase decisions.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
