FINANCE & ACCOUNTS MANAGER (DEPARTMENT LEAD) CITAGLOBAL CAPITAL SDN BHD JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a highly capable and strategic Finance & Accounts Manager to lead the finance and accounting function at Citaglobal Capital Sdn Bhd. This role carries department leadership responsibility and is critical to supporting the company's financial health, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and long-term strategic growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for full-spectrum financial operations - from strategic planning and forecasting, to financial reporting, cashflow oversight, audits, and statutory compliance. The role requires strong leadership, sound judgment, and a hands-on approach to finance management in a fast-paced and regulated financial services environment. You will work closely with senior stakeholders within the Citaglobal Berhad Group while reporting directly to the CEO of Citaglobal Capital Sdn Bhd. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Financial Leadership Lead the finance & accounts function with full ownership of budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial planning. Partner with the CEO and senior management to support data-driven decision-making and business strategy. Translate complex financial data into clear insights and recommendations for operational and strategic actions. Financial Operations & Control Oversee month-end and year-end closing, financial statements preparation, and internal controls. Ensure timely and accurate management accounts, statutory reports, and tax submissions. Manage treasury operations including cashflow forecasting, fund management, and drawdowns Compliance, Audit & Governance Ensure strict compliance with all financial regulations, tax requirements, and Group policies. Liaise with auditors, regulators, tax agents, and Group Finance to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Continuously monitor risks and implement controls to safeguard company assets. Team Leadership & Development Lead and supervise the finance and accounts team, providing clear direction, performance management, and development. Ensure accountability, efficiency, and accuracy within the team's day-to-day operations. Systems & Process Improvement Drive automation and system improvements in financial processes, reporting tools, and internal workflows. Champion financial discipline, policy enforcement, and consistent documentation across departments. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) is required. Minimum 8 of progressive finance/accounting experience, preferably withing financial services or other regulated industries, including at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity. Strong knowledge of MFRS (Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards) with working familiarity of IFRS, particularly in the context of statutory reporting and group consolidation. Experience in financial services or regulated environments is highly preferred. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Strong command of Excel, accounting systems (e.g., SQL, SAP, XERO or similar), and financial modelling. High integrity, proactive, meticulous, and a strong sense of ownership. Show more Show less
