Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Accounts to support our finance operations within the dynamic Food & Beverage (F&B) environment. The role involves overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting strategic financial decisions. The ideal candidate should have solid F&B industry knowledge, strong technical accounting skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily accounting operations including revenue recognition, supplier invoices, petty cash, inventory accounting, and bank reconciliations. Ensure accurate and timely recording of sales and expenses across multiple outlets/locations. Monitor cost of goods sold (COGS), food wastage, inventory movement, and gross profit margins. Review outlet-level P&L reports and assist in variance analysis. Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely settlements and reconciliation. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and reporting. Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, SST/GST/VAT (as applicable), and internal control policies. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and other external parties for audit and tax submissions. Assist in cash flow forecasting and working capital management. Supervise junior accountants and provide guidance as needed. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is an added advantage. Minimum 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the F&B, hospitality, or retail industry. Strong understanding of POS systems, inventory systems, and their integration with accounting software. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL, Xero, MYOB, SAP, or any relevant ERP). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Bonus Skills: Familiarity with outlet operations and F&B business processes. Experience handling multi-location or franchise accounting. Knowledge of menu costing, stock variance, and wastage control.
