We are seeking an experienced Engineering & Maintenance Manager to lead engineering and maintenance programmes across our manufacturing sites, ensuring plant machinery, equipment, facilities, and utilities operate at peak performance. This role is key to optimizing production throughput while driving reliability, safety, and cost efficiency. Key Responsibilities Plant Machinery & Equipment Maintenance - Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programmes to achieve zero unplanned downtime, including equipment inspections, repairs, and commissioning of new installations. Spare Parts & Workshop Management - Oversee spare parts inventory, review purchase requisitions, and ensure timely, high-quality repairs in the engineering workshop. Continuous Improvement - Implement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness while analysing failures and driving root cause solutions. Facilities & Utility Optimisation - Monitor and reduce consumption of power, water, gas, and other resources, ensuring operational cost control. Safety & Compliance - Maintain up-to-date SOPs and work instructions, enforce safety standards, and foster a zero-loss-time injury culture. Leadership & Development - Mentor engineers, monitor team performance against KPIs, and build technical capabilities to strengthen plant engineering competencies. Qualifications & Experience Advanced Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Control & Instrumentation Engineering. Minimum 10 years' experience in manufacturing or related fields, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity. Proven expertise in preventive maintenance, ISO compliance, and managing within a regulatory environment.
