
Product Manager/Senior Executive

- Responsible for development and execution of new product launches in assigned categories (healthcare and slimming) comprising of health supplements and functional food products
- Develop products by identifying potential products; conducting market research; generating product requirements; determining specifications, production timetables, pricing, and time-integrated plans for product introduction
- Conceptualise and develop marketing plans for introduction of new products
- Review and analyse sales performance of products/brands
- Formulate marketing strategies for products/brands
- Review and analyse monthly promotion plan including preparation of promotion mechanics, forecast and costing
- Build productive working relationship with key stakeholders to manage product portfolio’s day to day operations
- Work closely with suppliers to monitor inventory/forecast to ensure stock availability
- Manage and coach direct report(s) to get the best of everyone to successfully deliver their respective goals
- Handle and coordinate all marketing related activities and tasks
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in Nutrition/ Food Technology/ Dietetics/ Science or related disciplines
- Knowledge or background in Marketing will be an added advantage
- Excellent command of English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin
- Minimum 5 years of related work experience
- Computer literate
- Well-organized, articulate, have an eye for detail, resourceful, hands-on, self-motivated, good time management plus a result-focused person
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, possess a mature attitude, a good team player, and possess leadership skills
- Consumer understanding: market trends, consumer behavior, competitor intelligence
- Possess strong and eloquent writing, speaking, and presentation skills
- Assist in developing and implement product/project management activities including marketing strategies planning, brand building activities and product development
- Assist in managing cost/pricing structure of product portfolios.
- Prepare sales analysis of product/brand portfolio for review.
- Present product updates, sample reviews and information to internal staffs and cross-functional partners.
- Executive monthly promotion plan including preparation of promotion mechanics, forecast and costing.
- Responsible for monitoring and collating of all marketing related activities, tasks as well as customer needs.
- Support in customer’s service
- Analytical with a good understanding of basic science
- Experienced in product development will be an advantage
- Proactive, results-driven and able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Computer literate and good interpersonal skills
- A team player, positive mind, and able to work under pressure
- Possess good consumer understanding: market trends, consumer behavior, competitor intelligence
- Possess at least a Diploma in Marketing, Business Management or Science
- Excellent command of English, Bahasa Malaysia, and/or Mandarin
