We are seeking a Business Development Manager to expand Tuntex's presence in the commercial carpet tile industry across Southeast Asia. This role goes beyond sales, focusing on strategic partnerships, project pipeline development, and market expansion. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building long-term client and partner relationships, and driving Tuntex's brand recognition among architects, designers, developers, and corporate end-users. Position Responsibilities: Market Development Identify and evaluate new market opportunities in corporate offices, hospitality, education, healthcare, and public sector projects. Research competitors and provide insights on market positioning. Explore new distribution channels and partnerships with dealers, contractors, and project consultants. Strategic Partnerships Build and maintain strong relationships with A&D firms (Architects & Designers), developers, and corporate decision-makers. Collaborate with industry associations and attend trade shows to strengthen Tuntex's visibility. Partner with dealers and distributors to co-develop market penetration strategies. Project Pipeline Management Track and influence project specifications to ensure Tuntex is included early in the design stage. Work closely with project managers, facility managers, and procurement teams to convert leads into signed contracts. Develop customized proposals, pricing strategies, and solutions to meet client needs. Internal Collaboration Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Factory teams to align business growth strategies. Provide feedback to product and design teams to ensure Tuntex collections meet evolving market demand. Performance & Reporting Achieve quarterly and annual new business targets (pipeline value, number of new accounts, project wins). Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular business intelligence reports. Requirements: Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field. Experience : 3-6 years in business development, specification sales, or project-based selling in flooring, textiles, or building materials industry. Skills: - Strong networking and relationship-building ability with A&D and end-users. - Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. - Strategic mindset with ability to identify long-term growth opportunities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools. Language: Fluent English (Mandarin or other SEA languages is a plus). Travel: 30-50% travel across assigned regions. Show more Show less
