JOB SUMMARY The Senior Executive, Business Development will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and driving strategic initiatives to support the company's growth in the renewable energy and environmental solutions sector. RESPONSIBILITIES Business Development & Market Expansion: Develop comprehensive business development plans to meet company goals and revenue objectives. Identify key market segments and potential clients, particularly in solar energy solutions. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the industry. Evaluate market trends, competitor actions, and regulatory changes to maintain a competitive edge in the industry. Assist in the development of business strategies to expand the company's presence in the renewable energy sector. Client & Stakeholder Management: Foster and sustain strong relationships with industry regulators, vendors, and clients. Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, government agencies, and industry stakeholders. Identify and pursue strategic relationships with other businesses, government entities, and industry stakeholders. Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to enhance the company's brand visibility and business connections. Represent the company at industrial events. Proposal & Tender Management: Assist in preparing business proposals, tenders, and investment presentations for potential clients and partners. Oversee the business development process from initial concept through contract negotiation and finalization. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and competitive submissions of proposals. Support negotiations and contract discussions with clients and partners. Project Coordination & Support: Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution. Provide support in feasibility studies, financial modeling, and due diligence for new projects. Reporting & Analysis: Maintain accurate records of business development activities, including client interactions, proposals, and agreements. Analyze customer feedback and market data to enhance product offerings and pricing strategies. Provide regular updates and insights to senior management regarding business development activities and results. Prepare regular reports and updates for management on business development progress and key performance indicators (KPIs). REQUIREMENT Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development, preferably in renewable energy, infrastructure, or environmental solutions. Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of renewable energy policies, regulations, and industry trends is an added advantage. Show more Show less
