- To develop new products, formulate different types of products, and explore market needs for future development.
- Conduct sensory evaluation for new and existing product samples or when it is necessary.
- Applied research into aspects of food processing, food preservation, food quality, food deterioration, packaging, and storage.
- Coordinate trial run with relevant departments and conduct process validation of new formulation.
- Monitor and coordinate all activities related to new/existing product development.
- Passionate in research and innovation with a positive mindset in handling failure.
- Establish, compile, check and approve ingredients, manufacturing, and finish product specifications and labeling.
- Manage and comply with food safety and regulatory requirements.
- To plan and coordinate with procurement, assist in coordinating trial runs, and conduct process validation of new formulation.
- To carry out the product testing and analysis as per requirement & SOP.
- Possess at least a Degree in Food Science/Food Technology/Microbiology
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry
- Well-versed with HACCP, GMP, and other food-related regulations
- Analytical, well organized, good project management skills, and well-equipped with a multi-tasking ability
