Job Title: Regional Financial Controller Reporting to: APAC CFO / Global Controller (US-based) Team: Regional Finance Team + Local Country Finance Leads US-headquartered pharma multinational company with a strong global footprint. With operations across key markets in Asia / Southeast Asia / Asia Pacific, the business is entering an exciting phase of growth and transformation. We are looking for a Regional Financial Controller to lead the financial operations across the region and act as a key business partner to senior stakeholders both regionally and globally. Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Reporting & Compliance Oversee and ensure timely, accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for all entities within the region in compliance with US GAAP and local statutory requirements. Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure statutory compliance across jurisdictions. Maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to corporate governance frameworks and SOX 2. Regional Consolidation & Analysis Lead the regional financial consolidation process and provide insight-driven analysis on business performance. Deliver regional management reporting and commentary to HQ and executive leadership. 3. Business Partnering & Strategic Support Partner with Regional GM/MDs and functional heads to support commercial decision-making. Drive cost optimization, working capital improvement, and investment analysis across countries. Provide financial insight into new business initiatives, market entry, or expansion. 4. Budgeting & Forecasting Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting process across the region. Collaborate with local teams and HQ to ensure alignment of targets and assumptions. 5. Leadership & People Management Lead, coach, and develop a regional finance team across multiple markets. Build a high-performance finance culture focused on continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration. 6. Systems & Process Improvements Partner with IT and Finance Transformation teams to streamline financial systems, tools, and reporting processes. Drive ERP optimization or system roll-outs in alignment with global initiatives. Requirements Bachelor&aposs Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is strongly preferred. Minimum 10-15 years' experience, including at least 5 years in a senior controllership or regional finance leadership role in a multinational setting. Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and local statutory requirements in key APAC markets. Hands-on experience in managing multi-country financial operations. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Netsuite) and financial reporting tools. Excellent communication skills - able to work effectively with global HQ and local teams.
