A fast-growing group with ambitious plans to shape the digital economy in Southeast Asia. Role Overview To lead the Group's finance function. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Group CEO and involves oversight of all financial operations, strategic planning, and corporate finance initiatives. The ideal candidate will be both hands-on and strategic, able to manage day-to-day financial processes while supporting the Group's growth agenda, including M&A and fundraising activities. Key Responsibilities Lead the full spectrum of finance activities including accounting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and treasury across the Group. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial and management reports. Develop and enhance financial policies, controls, and systems in line with international accounting standards. Oversee payroll, vendor payments, and reconciliation processes, ensuring strong compliance and operational efficiency. Deliver financial analysis to support business performance, cost optimisation, and strategic decision-making. Ensure full compliance with local tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements, including public listing obligations. Manage group audit processes and support preparation of interim and annual reports. Lead tax planning initiatives and liaise with tax authorities on compliance matters. Identify, manage, and mitigate financial risks across the business. Support and drive corporate finance initiatives such as fundraising, M&A, and other strategic business transactions. Conduct financial due diligence on target companies and investment opportunities. Coordinate with external advisors on deal execution, regulatory filings, and legal documentation. Qualifications & Requirements Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, with a recognised professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ICAEW). Eligible to sign off on the statutory declaration of audited financial statements (as required by Bursa Malaysia). Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior finance leadership role, preferably in a listed or high-growth environment. Strong technical knowledge of accounting, tax, financial reporting and corporate governance. Prior exposure to corporate finance, M&A or capital markets activities is a strong advantage. Meticulous, hands-on and strategic, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial/accounting systems.
