Job Overview We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Fit-Out to oversee all aspects of interior construction and coordination for our group shopping mall projects. This role is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of retail unit fit-outs, common areas, and tenant coordination works, ensuring all design and construction meets brand, budget, and timeline expectations. Key Responsibilities Lead the overall fit-out strategy for shopping mall projects, ensuring successful delivery of retail units, F&B spaces, entertainment zones, and public/common areas. Oversee tenant coordination activities from design submission to unit handover, ensuring compliance with mall design guidelines and timelines. Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans for all fit-out works across multiple malls. Review and approve tenant drawings, specifications, and material submissions. Manage relationships with tenants, contractors, designers, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution. Monitor all fit-out works on-site, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Resolve technical issues, site conflicts, and schedule deviations promptly and effectively. Coordinate with leasing, design, M&E, and facility management teams to ensure seamless integration of tenant and mall infrastructure. Lead periodic site reviews, progress meetings, and status reporting to senior management. Ensure cost control through efficient procurement and contractor management. Stay current with retail fit-out trends, construction technologies, and regulatory updates to improve processes. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline. Minimum 10 years of experience in retail fit-out or shopping mall development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strong understanding of shopping mall operations, tenant coordination, and retail construction standards. Proven track record in delivering large-scale fit-out projects on time and within budget. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Familiarity with Malaysian construction regulations, fire and safety codes, and mall design standards. Proficient in project management software and construction tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project). Fluent in English; Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin is an added advantage. Show more Show less
