
Senior Manager (Interior Design & Fit-Out)

- Responsible for overseeing design functions, including interior space planning and engineering coordination, from feasibility to operations.
- Liaise with Architecture on interior space planning.
- Lead the design team for assigned projects, setting design briefs, key scores, schedules, and budgets.
- Advise consultants on cost-effective material selection throughout the project.
- Assist in the tender selection process, including appointing pre-qualified interior consultants and contractors, as well as adjudication and evaluation.
- Ensure all mall stores meet the highest international standards in presentation and functionality.
- Ensure business-driven design solutions, on-time store delivery, and early openings by effectively utilizing the Tenancy SOP system.
- Develop SOPs and implement tenancy design tracking procedures.
- Coordinate support for the leasing program and provide technical assistance during lease negotiations with retailers.
- Work with MEP consultants to set mall technical guidelines, rate schedules, and assess retailer variations from base building works for retailers.
- Work with the architect to update retail plans, study plans, tenancy plans, and building details related to tenancies.
- Oversee pre-fit-out, unit access, handover, fit-out progress, site inspections, local authority submissions, and store openings.
- Manage the company's furniture inventory, ensuring accurate tracking, documentation, and regular audits.
- Oversee furniture acquisition, distribution, and disposal in line with company needs and budget.
- Support and promote professional growth while maintaining a positive and professional environment for optimal individual and team performance.
- Conduct performance appraisals, bonus and competency reviews, and set department goals aligned with company objectives.
- Perform other duties as needed, including travel.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the company as needed.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or any related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in interior design and fit-out, preferably in property development, hospitality, or commercial projects.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale interior design and fit-out projects.
- Extensive knowledge of design principles, space planning, material selection, and construction techniques.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics and functionality.
