We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Ecommerce Marketing Director to lead and drive the strategic growth of our clients' portfolios across both proprietary ecommerce platforms and marketplaces within the Southeast Asia (SEA) region. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of ecommerce, digital marketing strategies, and marketplace management (Shopee, Lazada, etc.), along with strong leadership skills and a proven track record of delivering exceptional growth and ROI in multi-channel ecommerce environments. You are the primary contact with our commercial team and brand and other partners from operational decision making to both offsite and onsite marketing. You will have full responsibility for team&aposs offsite marketing, onsite planning and execution and profitability. You will manage both external and internal stakeholders as we work closely with our team of Content House, Commercial and Finance. The role presents incumbent with the opportunity to apply analytical and strategic planning skills to increase online sales and generate leads for well-known international brands. He/she is the key subject matter expert in the area of performance marketing & CRM and plays a crucial role in driving growth and direction of digital marketing for the clients. Accountabilities /Key Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies for the SEA region, aligning with business objectives to enhance client visibility, sales, and market share across ecommerce platforms and marketplaces. Monitor and analyze market trends, competition, and customer insights to optimize digital marketing strategies and identify new business opportunities. Act as the main point of contact for key client portfolios, managing expectations, and ensuring the successful execution of their ecommerce strategies across multiple channels. Collaborate closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to drive optimal solutions for clients, providing insights, performance updates, and recommendations to enhance their ecommerce presence. Ensure seamless integration and management of clients' ecommerce operations across proprietary platforms and major marketplaces like Shopee, Lazada, Zalora, etc. Stay abreast of marketplace developments and leverage opportunities to improve sales performance, customer acquisition, and retention. Oversee the execution of performance marketing campaigns (PPC, SEM, SEO, display, paid social, etc.) on ecommerce platforms and marketplaces, ensuring alignment with client goals and maximum ROI. Utilize data-driven insights to continuously optimize marketing activities, refine targeting, and improve conversions across multiple digital channels. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the digital marketing team, commercial team and supporting new business engagement Develop and manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring cost-efficient strategies and the delivery of optimal results. Track and report on performance metrics, ensuring all campaigns and initiatives are driving strong ROI and contributing to overall business growth. Own, Track and Maintain P&L for digital marketing & CRM services by consistent revenue, manpower & variable cost forecasting. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of ecommerce digital marketing professionals across the region, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. Requirements 8 years working experience in Digital Marketing & CRM, preferably in an Online Marketing agency or Marketplace or Brand side Relevant Google/FB marketing/advertising Certifications Proven track record in planning and execution of performance marketing & CRM activities for both Dot.com and Marketplace online businesses Understands consumer path to purchase and what it takes to optimize the journey Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of working with C-suite executives and key client stakeholders Proven track record of driving innovation and creative problem-solving in ecommerce and digital marketing spaces.
