- Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Translation, Linguistics, Languages, Communication, or a related field.
- Professional certification in translation or interpretation is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience as a translator or interpreter for Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Experience in the property, shopping mall management, or operations management industry is an advantage.
- Excellent command of Mandarin (spoken and written) with strong proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and awareness of cultural nuances.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective interpretation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with translation tools or software is an advantage.
- Facilitate accurate interpretation and translation to ensure effective communication between Chinese-speaking top management, local employees, Chinese-speaking tenants, and relevant local authorities.
- Translate a wide range of documents, including reports, contracts, standard operating procedures (SOPs), marketing materials, and emails, among Mandarin, English, and Malay while maintaining accuracy, tone, and context.
- Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, conferences, training sessions, and virtual calls as required.
- Proofread and edit translated content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and correct terminology.
- Ensure all translations maintain the original tone, meaning, and cultural relevance.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments such as Administration & Management, Human Resources, Operations, Marketing, and Leasing to understand context and ensure accurate translation.
- Assist in the preparation of bilingual and trilingual documents for internal use and official submissions.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive company and client information at all times.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and professional translation standards.
- Provide general administrative assistance, including document preparation, record-keeping, and handling correspondence.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, coordinating logistics, and preparing necessary reports for management.
- Support day-to-day departmental operations and perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the superior.
