
Account Executive (Internal Finance / Client Bookkeeping)

- Review and finalize billing documents (invoices, credit/debit notes)
- Maintain accounts receivable ledgers and prepare aging reports
- Validate and process commission payments and CP58 documentation
- Perform bank reconciliations and record cash receipts
- Support month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting, and tax filings
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and internal stakeholders
- Prepare full set of accounts for assigned clients (AR, AP, GL, P&L, BS)
- Perform tax computations and support statutory filings (CP204, SST, Form C, etc.)
- Process payroll and statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, PCB, EA Form)
- Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries on client matters
- Manage client documentation, onboarding/offboarding and compliance tracking
- Maintain structured digital files and support audit-readiness
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
- 2-4 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, UBS) and Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Malaysian statutory and tax requirements
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage
