JOB SUMMARY Plan, coordinate, execute, monitor, and continually improve the management of safety & health especially in Occupational Health (OH) and Industrial Hygiene (IH) matters upon related regulations and management systems with respect to organizational operation and business nature. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH (OH) Develops, recommends, and implement programs, policies and procedures associated with all requirements pertaining occupational health. Negotiate, procure, and prepare for required external services by consultants Continually evaluate and improve company's occupational health and safety program effectiveness. Planning and carry out specific training and program pertaining occupational health for involved employee. INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE (IH) Develops, recommends, and implement programs, policies and procedures associated with all requirements pertaining industrial hygiene Negotiate, procure, and prepare for required external services by consultants Continually evaluate and improve company's industrial hygiene and safety program effectiveness. Planning and carry out specific training and program pertaining industrial hygiene for involved employee. OH - PANDEMIC & OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH DISEASE PREPAREDNESS Ensuring of pandemic preparedness plan focusing on pandemic crisis (COVID-19) and other related public health diseases (Tuberculosis, Influenza, etc.) in Air Selangor is well managed. Preparation of personal protective equipment (PPE) for employee to minimize the risk. Preparation of guidelines, information and alert to all staff as an awareness. OH - FITNESS TO WORK Plan, determine and monitor all requirements pertaining fitness to work for all job. Assisting in FTW process for incident in Air Selangor Conducting awareness program related to FTW to employee OH - OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH DOCTOR (OHD) MANAGEMENT Plan and establish an OH management in Air Selangor Assist in appointment of OHD for incident or other related cases occurs in Air Selangor. OH - OCCUPAIONAL HEALTH / WELLNESS PROGRAM Plan, coordinate and implement the execution of company-level health and safety promotion program that may include company event OH - OFFICE SAFETY Develops, recommends, and implement programs, policies and procedures associated with all requirements pertaining office safety Enhancement of office safety related to Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) & Office Lighting to ensure employees and occupants are protected from poor indoor air quality & lighting that could adversely affect health and well-being & work productivity. Conduct inspection, prepare the monitoring report and monitor the improvement work as the result from the inspection/assessment been conducted OH - FATIGUE MANAGEMENT Develops, recommends, and implement programs, policies and procedures associated with all requirements pertaining fatigue management Assess and control risk associated with fatigue. OH - FOOD & DRINK SAFETY Plan, coordinate and establish an appropriate Food and Drink safety program for company's canteen facilities and food handlers Monitor catering service contractor performance and competency of food handlers. Conduct inspection, prepare the monitoring report and monitor the improvement work as the result from the inspection/assessment been conducted Continually evaluate and improve food and drink safety program effectiveness IH - CHEMICAL SAFETY MANAGEMENT Plan, implement and monitor all requirements pertaining chemical safety Negotiate, procure and prepare for required external services by consultants (Chemical Health Risk Assessment (CHRA) & Chemical Exposure Monitoring (CEM) & Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) / General Exhaust Ventilation (GEV) Continually evaluate and improve company's chemical safety performance. Conduct inspection, prepare the monitoring report and monitor the improvement work as the result from the inspection/assessment been conducted Carry out specific training pertaining chemical safety (Chlorine & other chemical use in Air Selangor premises) IH - NOISE EXPOSURE Plan, implement and monitor all requirement pertaining noise exposure (workplace & personal) Negotiate, procure and document prepare for required external services by consultants (Noise Risk Assessment & Audiometric program) Continually evaluate and improve noise exposure program effectiveness. Planning and carry out specific training related to noise exposure for involved employee. IH - ERGONOMICS Plan, implement and monitor all requirements pertaining ergonomics Continually evaluate and improve company's ergonomics performance. Conduct inspection, prepare the monitoring report and monitor the improvement work as the result from the inspection/assessment been conducted Assist in engaging third party for ergonomic issue (SOCSO claim, Ergonomic incident, etc.) Minimum Qualifications Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Safety & Health / Environment / Science / Engineering / Chemistry / Biology / any related field Minimum 1 year of experience in related field Familiar with Malaysian regulations including by law published by local authorities especially related to occupational safety and health Familiar with interpretation and implementation of Occupational Safety & Health Management System (OHSAS 18001:2007 or equivalent) Wide knowledge on specific OSH requirements Up-to-date knowledge in current occupational safety & health practices.
