TUI Airlines Holidays is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Marketing Specialist to lead the execution of our database marketing, ecommerce merchandising, and platform campaign operations. This is a hands-on role, suited for someone with 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing or ecommerce who thrives on getting things done and driving measurable impact across the booking funnel. You'll collaborate closely with marketing, product, analytics, and airline partners to deliver high-performing campaigns and frictionless platform experiences. Key Responsibilities 1. Campaign Execution & Platform Merchandising Own the end-to-end setup of campaigns across our digital platforms (e.g. promo codes, labels, merchandising placements) Implement and test merchandising assets, including homepage highlights, category labels, and promotional banners Work closely with product and content teams to ensure campaign accuracy, consistency, and timely go-live 2. Database Marketing (CRM & EDM) Plan and execute email campaigns based on target segments, user behavior, and partner-driven promotions Collaborate with analytics and marketing to define audience rules (e.g. loyalty status, past purchase behavior) Monitor CRM metrics (open rate, CTR, conversions), and propose tactical improvements 3. Visual & Collateral Production Create lightweight marketing visuals (e.g. banners, email headers, tags) using Canva or similar tools Draft engaging micro-copy for in-platform promotions, banners, and campaign comms Coordinate with external designers or freelancers when advanced design is needed 4. Performance Monitoring & Optimisation Collaborate with performance analyst to interpret campaign results and implement learnings Regularly test and optimise merchandising placements, EDM timing, and messaging formats Maintain campaign playbooks, calendars, and trackers 5. Cross-functional Coordination Liaise with airline partners (via the senior marketer) to implement agreed promotions or updates Provide campaign and platform ops support to marketing, sourcing, and product teams Ensure brand alignment and compliance across all executions Requirements 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing, CRM, or ecommerce campaign operations Familiarity with marketing automation tools (e.g., Braze, Salesforce, Mailchimp, etc.) Strong understanding of campaign setup and ecommerce tagging/merchandising flows Experience with A/B testing tools (e.g., ABlyft, Google Optimize, Optimizely) for campaign or UX experimentation Exposure to on-site marketing tools (e.g., OptiMonk, Dynamic Yield, or similar) to drive conversion and engagement Proficient in Canva, basic Adobe tools, or equivalent for light visual design Comfortable interpreting campaign performance data using CRM dashboards or tools like Google Analytics Excellent attention to detail, time management, and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment Prior experience in travel, OTA, or ecommerce platforms Working knowledge of HTML for emails or basic CMS platform use Basic understanding of customer lifecycle, loyalty marketing, or segmentation logic Show more Show less
