Who&aposs hiring A global communications firm with offices in over 20 countries is hiring an HR Business Partner to lead talent development and performance strategies across its APAC business. With a strong presence in Malaysia and Singapore, the company provides services to some of the world&aposs leading brands. What&aposs the role You&aposll be the first dedicated HR hire in the region, reporting directly to the APAC Managing Director. This is a strategic, standalone role responsible for shaping HR operations, talent development, and internal communications across a team of 60 in Malaysia, Singapore, and key Asia-Pacific markets. This isn&apost a policy-pusher role, they&aposre looking for someone proactive and people-first, with strong initiative and a knack for spotting opportunities to improve performance, culture, and retention. You&aposll design L&D strategies, support leaders, and ensure the business is ready to adapt to a fast-evolving industry. What you&aposll be doing: Develop and implement a regional learning & development strategy Lead performance management and employee engagement initiatives Act as a strategic advisor to managers on all people matters Oversee recruitment and employer branding in a competitive talent market Ensure HR operations, compliance, and processes run smoothly Strengthen internal communication and drive a positive workplace culture Who are you You&aposre an experienced HR generalist (8+ years) with regional experience, ideally in PR, media, communications, or a related agency setting. You&aposre proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable working autonomously. You&aposre someone who can hold your own in a leadership team, with strong advisory instincts, great EQ, and the ability to influence with confidence.
