Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organisation&aposs goals and objectives. Oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talent. Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures. Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws and policies. Lead performance management initiatives, including appraisals, feedback, and development plans. Design and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth. Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and fairness. Promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the university. Provide guidance / advisory and support to leadership on HR-related matters. Manage HR budgets and resources effectively. Key Requirements and Competencies Bachelor&aposs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master&aposs degree preferred). Minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. In-depth knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and HR best practices. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives. Experience in a higher education environment is a plus. Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships. High level of integrity and confidentiality. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
