- Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to effectively communicate with a diverse range of clients and partners.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to articulate the value proposition of our AI-powered consumer financing platform.
- Ability to conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities and market trends within the fintech and lending industries.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills to build and maintain strong partnerships with hire purchase businesses and other lending institutions.
- Proven ability to network effectively and build relationships with key decision-makers in the fintech ecosystem.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges in a fast-paced startup environment.
- A genuine interest in fintech and a desire to learn about and contribute to the growth of AI-powered consumer financing solutions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a results-oriented approach to business development.
- Comfortable with a hybrid work model and able to travel outstation whenever needed.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the fintech and consumer financing sectors, focusing on hire purchase and lending businesses.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, understand their needs, and analyze competitive landscapes to inform business development strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at target companies, acting as a primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve company growth targets, including lead generation, qualification, and conversion.
- Negotiate and close deals with new clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and alignment with company objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product, marketing, and customer success, to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing support for new clients.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients, showcasing the value proposition of DCAP's AI-powered Consumer Financing Platform.
- Track and report on business development activities, providing regular updates to management on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes within the fintech and consumer financing space.
