- Provide regulatory support and consultancy on Nutrition/Dairy product portfolio, Livestock/Veterinary/Dairy import-export, Halal matters in Malaysia, Singapore & Brunei.
- Act as a key liaison with internal cross functional teams, manufacturing plant team, global/regional regulatory, R&D teams, and work closely with external partners, to ensure that regulatory, safety, Livestock/Veterinary/Dairy import-export, Halal matters are properly managed and resolved
- Support the development and rollout of new products by navigating regulatory requirements and maintaining compliance. Communicate and interact with cross-functional teams, playing a pivotal role in project meetings to understand objectives.
- Engage with regulatory authorities, staying abreast of the changing landscape and expertly managing product compliance.
- Contribute to the team by formatting and compiling regulatory submission documents under guidance.
- Access and understand regulations and guidelines, applying them effectively to projects, as directed.
- Support the department administrative work e.g. regulatory database, handling PO, invoices, flight & hotel bookings, meetings, training and seminar registration of Regulatory Team members.
- Possesses a degree, preferably in Food Science/Nutrition or related fields. At least 2-3 years working experience in Halal, Livestock/Veterinary/Dairy import-export matters, preferably in Nutrition or food industry.
- Basic knowledgeable with Malaysia, Singapore & Brunei Food Act and Regulation; and knowledge on International Regulation Standard is an added advantage.
- Language skills: Fluent in English and Malay language.
- Pro-active self-direction with a high level of initiative and persistence and a very much hands on approach to results delivery.
