The Chief Finance Officer is responsible for ensuring the timely completion and submission of financial and statistical reports to management and regulatory agencies. This role involves tracking and managing the overall financial performance of the organisation, developing comprehensive financial strategies, and executing tactics related to cost management, budget analysis, and financial forecasting. Key responsibilities include overseeing all treasury, accounting, budgeting, tax, audit, insurance, and financial operations within the organisation. The Chief Finance Officer will collaborate closely with the senior leadership team to set and direct the organisation's annual financial goals and targets, ensuring alignment with the guidance of the Board of Directors. This position requires a proactive approach to financial management, with a strong focus on compliance, performance improvement, and strategic planning. Key Accountabilities: Oversees Company's annual organisational budget and decide on subsequent approvals to ensure adherence to the budget by all departments Guide the development and implementation of accounting frameworks for monitoring balance sheet management instruments, enabling Company to assess its liquidity position, track market risk exposure, etc Review and reports Company financial statements to the Board of Directors and senior management to paint an accurate picture of the health of Company financial resources Reviews and updates Company financial management policies to ensure Company financial resources are allocated efficiently Assess and evaluate Company existing reserves to identify opportunities for better utilisation and deployment for maximisation of potential returns Oversees all operational fixed income and treasury processes comply with internal and regulatory requirements Establish and maintain cash management program in order to optimise Company cash management practices Define goals and key performance indicators for each member of the team and ensure effective implementation of Company performance management framework Develop talent within the team by providing guidance and coaching to achieve the defined goals while maintaining a high performance culture Oversees the overall annual revenue and budget forecast of the division and secure subsequent approvals, track expenditure and ensure adherence to the budget while delivering P&L targets. Total OPEX: 150Mil CAPEX: 15Mil Key Qualifications A bachelor&aposs degree is essential, with a master&aposs degree, CPA, or MBA strongly preferred. Hold a professional certification in Chartered Accountancy . A minimum of 12 years of progressive finance experience is required, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership or managerial role . Demonstrated financial and business acumen , with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to effectively manage diverse stakeholders. Proven experience in managing relationships with key groups, including, the Board of Directors, government bodies i.e. Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), other corporate and financial institutions and audit committees.
