We value individual differences and provide opportunities for you to contribute your unique perspective towards our collective goals.Responsibilities:In your role as Supply Chain Planning Specialist, your will develop and support of our supply chain planning systems smoothly integrate with the company new ERP system in S/4 HANA environment with below activities:

Start a training and learning path to fully understand BASF Supply Chain Planning process/solutions in APO, IBP, and OMP, and skill up with S&OP and Supply Planning functional-related processes, framework design, and technical setup.
Work as a key coordinator to ensure smooth switching of interfaces between BASF Supply Chain Planning solutions and BASF core ERP system, from ECC to S/4HANA, on behalf of the S&OP and Supply Planning team.
Design and deploy S&OP and Supply Planning functional processes and technical solutions to various business units at the regional/global level, working with diverse stakeholders across supply chain and commercial teams.
Work in an agile way within a virtual global OMP S&OP squad, learning by doing, shadowing colleagues, and supporting system development, configuration, and ongoing support.
Work on user stories and change requests, actively pull and take over tasks, and work self-organized in development squads.
System Integration: Ensure readiness for interface with BW (Business Warehouse) and MABAS (Master Data System), and integration between current Supply Chain S&OP and Supply Planning solution and S/4HANA.
Data Management: Define S&OP and Supply Planning related data structure, process, and interfaces from existing systems to future systems, including ECC to S/4HANA.
Collaboration: Represent the OMP S&OP development squad, and work closely with the project team, Master Data team, BW team, Integration team, and DIL team for new process/system architecture redesign. Analyze impact on Demand Planning process/solutions, raise requirements to ensure smooth transformation of Demand Planning interfaces from ECC to S/4HANA.
Coordination: Work with the project team to include S&OP and Supply Planning related requirements into project scope.
Development: Build solutions where existing interfaces do not function post-S/4HANA go-live.
Testing and Support: Conduct testing in DEV & ACC environments, provide cutover support for OMP-S/4HANA integration, and assist during go-live.
Performance Assessment: Evaluate the performance of custom code post-transition to S/4HANA

Requirement:

Bachelor / Master in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years supply chain planning experience with an understanding of end-to-end supply chain planning

Technical and Professional Knowledge:

Minimum 5 years' developer experience in supply chain planning with good technical capability of system background (SAP APO, IBP, OMP or others)
Strong technical skills and proficiency in SAP S4 HANA and Supply Chain Planning system integration, data management and system performance assessment.
Deep understanding of Supply Chain Planning at least in one of below area: Demand Planning, S&OP, Supply Planning, Detailed Planning & Scheduling and interfacing process areas.
Solid DevOps knowledge in supply chain planning system in functional design, testing, configuration and debugging Experience
Programming experience in either C++, Java, Python, GIT, SQL

Effective communication skills to coordinate with various stakeholders and ensure alignment with project goals.
Comfortable working in highly complex environment with multiple stakeholders and with strong pressure to deliver on time and on budget.
Analytical thinking, Excellent communication skills in English with customers/Internal business partner.
