- This is a basic-level position in Applications Support.
- Strives for high levels of client satisfaction for the products/solutions supported.
- Capable of addressing questions regarding the installation, configuration and customization of the supported product sometimes with reference to others.
- Responds to Level 1 problems in a timely and accurate manner.
- Develops good skill level of expertise on products and solutions being supported.
- May research and resolve Level 2 support issues as required with supervision.
- May work on billable engagements as required to meet current client requirements.
- Has awareness of new services available.
- Escalates product issues to a more senior Analyst of the Group when unable to resolve them with available tools and skills.
- Attempts to reproduce reported problems.
- Documents resolutions to reported problems.
- Applies CMMi compliant best practices and promoting continuous process improvement.
- Has awareness of applicable work products and activities.
- Identifies product and documentation deficiencies.
- The incumbent may produce the following artifacts:
- Support Requests (Contacts)
- Trouble Reports (ClearQuest Defects, UCFs.
- Associate degree in computer science or related discipline.
- Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in systems administration, hardware and networking will be an advantage.
- Working knowledge of Windows network and Windows Server Operating Systems (Windows Server 2012, Window Server 2016, Window Server 2019 & above).
- End user application support experience with any client server based application running on Microsoft SQL server.
- Hands on working experience on Microsoft SQL 2008/2014/2022 & above. Microsoft Certifications (MCSE) would be advantage.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. A team player with good communication & interpersonal skills. Possess the logic required to analyze and resolve highly complex technical and business problems.
