- Primary responsibility is to perform annual review, incremental and new to Bank proposals for Large Corporates and Multinational Corporates portfolio from origination to obtaining credit approvals.
- Perform ratings of borrowers and corporate guarantors as part of credit preparation work and financial analysis of borrowers.
- Perform due diligence for the portfolio to identify , escalate and manage emerging risks in the portfolio of borrowers including joint calls or site visits with Coverage teams.
- Ensure the portfolio of borrowers are compliant with internal policies, covenants, terms and conditions imposed and procedures as well as regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and participate in internal, external, or regulatory audits, reporting, survey and any other involvement pertaining to the portfolio.
- Participate in projects, initiatives to streamline and improve process for Service Excellence.
- Continuously stay informed of best practices, markets and industry trends when engaging with all stakeholders.
- Degree in Business/Accounting/Finance/Economics or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years prior experience with Large Corporate borrowers / segments with deep understanding in product offerings spanning across trade supply chain management, conventional trade, cash management, Islamic products, lending products, capital markets / treasury products and securitization products preferred.
- Proven and progressive related lending / credit experience or equivalent in product experience (Trade Supply Chain and Conventional Trade specifically).
- Experience with comprehensive knowledge of Large Corporate Segment business including related products, pertinent regulations and the lending and credit approval processes including but not limited to FRM-GRM relationship structures.
- Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication to colleagues and borrowers.
- Demonstrates presentation, planning, organizational and analytical skills to all stake holders.
- Strong analytical skills with in depth understanding of financial statements, credit reports and risk assessment methodologies.
- Attention to detail and meticulous in evaluating financial data and identifying potential risks.
- Able to work independently to make sound judgement and recommendations with effective time management juggling multiple tasks efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
- Foster good relationships with clients, colleagues and industry contacts to gather insights and information.
