The Head - Business & Corporate Banking (SME Banking) is accountable for achieving the sales and profitability goals whilst solidifying customer relationships and increasing market share of SME financing nationwideJob ResponsibilitiesLeading SME’s overall sales tracking and management; achieving Bancassurance targets whilst spearheading all Bancassurance related initiatives; and Account Management Team in managing SME portfolio nationwide.Driving joint approvals / recommendations for SME segment credit applications, ad-hoc requests, credit requests, etc. as stipulated under the given discretionary power.Directing SME segment business development initiatives, inclusive of efficient resource deployment and customer interactions in accordance to the Bank’s corporate objectives.Working in conjunction with business support units to ensure attention and growth in key economic and account segments (e.g.: embedment within community to create franchise awareness through participation of trade associations and community events).Evaluating market trends and competitive information whilst identifying trends that effect segment’s current and future sales and profitability growth.To spearhead any special projects / initiatives as assigned (e.g. collaboration with Hong Leong Group of Companies, Bank-wide Deposit Acquisition, etc.).Responsible to support Business Compliance / Group Compliance in implementing the Bank’s Compliance frameworks, review and update policies and procedures to comply with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as internal standards and guidelines.Job RequirementBachelor’s degree in business, finance and related experiences;Experience leadership skills in banking with strong credit and marketing skillsets;Strong fundamentals in financial analysis, industry knowledge, market intelligence, effective communication, negotiation, supervisory and managerial skills.About Hong Leong BankWe are a leading financial institution in Malaysia backed by a century of entrepreneurial heritage.
