- Support General Ledger Accounting group during Month end close.
- Responsible for Product Category/Product Line Reporting.
- Validate actual sales and margin figures before month end close for each product line and categories to ensure figures are accurate.
- Liaison with other finance teams both within and outside Asia region if any issue found.
- Liaison with function leaders and controllers to update report when required.
- Responsible for generating the financial reports and ensuring that all figures are correct. Mainly on product line sales and margin reports.
- Analyze the figures and help Marketing & Product Development Controller
- Perform monthly, quarterly and YTD variance analysis and provide reporting and analysis to business process owners.
- Support Controller and business process owners in preparing annual Plan.
- Support phase reviews and MAR process for new product development project. As part of the regional product development team, work closely with different departments/functions/markets (including Engineering, Operations Finance, Procurement, Marketing, Project Management) to obtain and validate all information and underlying assumptions on sales (volume and price), COGS, capex & opex investment to develop a POV and financials for new product development projects.
- Prepare financials for post launch reviews.
- Support global product development projects.
- Provide guidance to product development team on finance process and any issues related.
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Business, Accounting or Economics
- CA or CPA preferred, or other equivalent accounting qualifications
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, English (mandatory), Mandarin (preferred but not a must).
- 10 years commercial shared service/MNC experience
- Ability to interpret and draw conclusions from financial/business information; able to review a proposal or transaction and determine the future effect on our business
- Need a strong business sense. Anticipates and takes initiative to identify concerns and recommend action. Able to interact with the internal and external customer as a business partner
