Our Authority Builder service helps you leverage your internal resources, find new experts, and maximize your content’s reach by developing an authority-focused content strategy.The RoleCopyPress is looking for content writers located in Malaysia to localize already written content.Job DescriptionThe content writer will localize high-quality content for a large-scale client. They are responsible for meeting goals for article creation and approval. The content writer will work closely with the Editing Team and Digital Content Managers to produce articles that meet all the client’s requirements. You will not need to write new articles; you only need to localize already written content for a Malaysian audience. Localization items to review include local laws, customs, and wording.Roles and Responsibilities

Localize articles that are free of redundancies, filler content, and grammatical errors.
Interpret assignment briefs to understand project requirements.
Study style guides and approved content to understand the client’s distinct voice.
Conduct high-quality research and fact-check before submitting.
Thoroughly edit and proofread all copy before submitting.
Collaborate with editors and the project manager from article creation to client approval.
Be open to constructive criticism from the internal team and client.
Revise copy based on internal and client feedback/direction.

Contract DetailsContract Type: Fixed price @ USD $0.04/wordWord Count: 1,500 to 3,000 words, or as per the article requirementsContract Length: 6 months, with an opportunity for an extension.Ideal Profile

3+ years of experience as a content writer or in a related role.
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Familiar with AP style.
Strong research skills.
Creativity.
Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines.
Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive.
Experience with SEO is a plus.
