- Responsible for the overall quality of the Change Management process and accountable for day to day operation and maintenance of IT Change Management processes, standards, methods and tools in support of IT and Business Unit strategies.
- Responsible to ensure that changes are efficiently and effectively recorded, evaluated, authorized, prioritized, planned, tested, implemented, documented and reviewed in a controlled fashion.
- Liaises with and supports business unit, project and IT support staff to utilize and continuously improve IT Change Management practices in line with the ITIL best practice framework.
- Develops and maintains IT Change Management principles, standards, plans and procedures and their implementation within the agreed upon scope.
- Provides guidance, answers questions and guiding staff in the correct use of the change process and identifies training requirements and provides training for staff if necessary.
- Schedules and chairs Change Advisory Board meeting and co-ordinates urgent changes among IT support team. Responsible to review changes prior to moving them forward for Change Advisory Board review.
- Assists auditors with auditing the activities of the Change Management function for compliance with established procedures and IT control framework.
- Responsible to generate weekly change log close report and regular monthly management reports related to process outcomes and KPI reporting on effectiveness of Change Management.
- Provide recommendations and input to management on existing or new processes and procedures to improve the effectiveness of Change Management.
- Lead implementation of any new Change Management polices changes/updates.
