Job Purpose The incumbent is expected to develop, propose and manage programs to enhance the Digital Trade ecosystem focusing on driving E-commerce Exports to achieve and contribute towards national level (RMK, NESR) and corporate level KPI, including strategic planning and coordination, intervention, public-private collaboration and engagements with relevant Ministries, agencies and industry players. Duties & Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Programme Development Plan, coordinate and develop plans and programs, as well as propose areas of intervention, including: Strategize, plan and develop detailed project plans Foster public-private collaboration Engage with and obtain buy-in from relevant ministries and agencies Engage with and explore collaboration with international and local industry players. Identify and highlight issues requiring intervention and prioritise intervention areas Conduct workshops, labs, seminars, and roundtables with relevant Ministries, Agencies and Industry players to obtain inputs and buy-in Recommend and escalate proposed new programmes for approval at relevant high level platforms and ensure overall programme execution is according to plan and aligns with the overall MDEC's and department's plans. Consolidate input and prepare reports for reporting to management and relevant task forces and committees, with recommendations if required Outreach & Engagement Plan, strategize, and coordinate the overall outreach and engagement programmes, including: To engage relevant stakeholders such as Ministries, Agencies, State government entities and associations to plan targeted outreach programs To carry out awareness and engagement programs to local businesses To facilitate onboarding of local businesses to industry partners for potential export opportunities Prepare reports for reporting to the management and relevant task forces and committees, with recommendations if required Project Management To carry out project management in the implementation of programmes including: Identify risks and challenges and take steps to mitigate them. Develop process efficiencies by reviewing them and making recommendations for improvements Mitigate the risk of the identified issues and recommend temporary countermeasures and permanent solutions to the problem Track the overall project resources (budget and manpower) Coordinate, monitor and report on project execution and implementation in a timely manner, including timely reporting and escalation of issues Actively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders and ensure timely delivery of outcomes Conduct research and analyse data to facilitate discussions and reporting To manage the project governance, which include engagement with internal stakeholders for procurement process, legal documentation, audit process, etc. Account Management, Monitoring & Reporting Develop and maintain strong relationship with industry players Manage industry players to ensure programs are carried out according to plan and committed targets are delivered. Collaborate with industry partners for outreach activities Compile, consolidate, analyse reports from partners for reporting to management and relevant task forces, committees, ministries, and agencies. Domain Knowledge Develop and enhance domain knowledge in overall Digital Trade and e-commerce ecosystem, including: Identify and develop the domain knowledge across Digital Trade ecosystem To provide guidance to subordinates and other relevant stakeholders on information regarding digital trade, e-commerce export value chain Maintain updated knowledge of developments by participating in training development programs as well as undertaking self-development programs Qualifications Recognized tertiary level qualification in any related fields Graduate with min 7 years of experience, the jobholder will have gained experience managing projects or is an experienced individual contributor who has experience and knowledge of digitalization Competency Required Soft Skills Problem solving and analytical thinking Communicate to influence and strategically engage key stakeholders View situations critically and provide innovative solutions Ability to work under pressure Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time accordingly Strong communicator/presenter Strategic analysis and planning b. Technical Skills Deep understanding of e-commerce related issues and opportunities Good understanding of e-commerce technologies and industry Data Visualisation, Data Analytical or any Database Management Skills Business analysis and due diligence
