Project Manager (Mill Management)

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering from a recognized institution
• Minimum 8 years working experience in mill management and project related work
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Willing to travel on overseas assignments
• Assist project execution team

• Undertake project planning, design, preparation of tender supervision and supervision of construction as per project/contract requirements.
• Assist in matters related to Authority approvals for projects.
• Undertake any other related tasks as per project/contract requirements.
• To liaise with client, contractors, technology providers/suppliers, and all other stake holders on project related matters as required.
• Coordinate with client on the progress of the project implementation and attend to all requests made by the client on the project.
• Visit project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance of design drawings, specifications and enforce good engineering practice.
• Conduct site meetings, oversee work of site staff and certify progress claims of contractors and suppliers.
• Discuss any specific requirements with the client and other related parties, if need arises.
• Manage, direct and monitor progress during each phase of a project development.
• Resolve design and construction problems, as they arise competently and speedily.
• Reply all letters, e mails and correspondences and submit minutes of meetings and reports (if required) promptly.
• Coordinate and supervise the work of the draughting and support staff.
• Any other tasks assigned by the firm in the course of project development or implementation
