Procurement Manager (IT/DC Commercial & Contract)

Key Responsibilities: Sourcing: Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and conduct thorough market research to source the best products or services at the most competitive prices. Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor performance to ensure compliance with quality standards, delivery schedules, and contractual agreements. Procurement Planning: Work closely with various departments to understand their procurement requirements, forecast demand, and develop procurement plans to meet organizational objectives. Purchase Orders: Prepare and process purchase orders, review purchase requisitions for accuracy and completeness, and ensure timely approval and processing of orders. Cost Analysis: Analyze pricing proposals, conduct cost-benefit analysis, and identify opportunities for cost savings through negotiations, volume discounts, or alternative sourcing strategies. Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain, develop risk mitigation strategies, and monitor supplier performance to proactively address issues and minimize disruptions. Compliance: Ensure compliance with organizational policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards in all procurement activities, including vendor selection, contract management, and purchasing processes. Reporting: Generate reports and provide regular updates on procurement activities, expenditures, savings, and performance metrics to management and stakeholders. Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvements, implement best practices, and participate in cross-functional teams to streamline procurement processes, enhance efficiency, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Sustainability: Promote sustainable procurement practices, including sourcing environmentally friendly products, reducing waste, and supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives within the supply chain. Qualifications: Bachelor&aposs degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field/higher. Working experience in Tech/IT/Data Center is highly advantageous Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management in MNC or PLC. Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers. Flexibility to travel abroad (20% of the time) when required Excellent analytical skills with the ability to conduct cost analysis and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of procurement regulations, contract law, and ethical sourcing practices. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Show more Show less
