Job Description Summary Job Description Job Description Perform research and development on latex compounding and latex dipping processes. Apply process control methodology to management manufacturing process and reduces defects. Evaluate process or product failures, identify root cause and take corrective actions. Evaluate new processing methods and equipment and assist in development of production technique. Support continuous improvement activities along value stream of catheter manufacturing. Perform any other relevant and related responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time as required by the Management. New Products / Special Projects Assist implementation of the transfer process and product from other Bard facilities. Coordination and implementation of projects in the company. Ensure all activities undertaken in the development projects conform to the company quality requirement system. Perform any other relevant and related responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time as required by the Management. Education & Qualification Bachelor's degree in any Science discipline, Chemical Engineering or Material Science. Experience Minimum 3 years working experience in manufacturing sector. LEAN and / or Six Sigma certification is an added advantage. Computer Programming such as Excel Macro and etc is an added advantage. Language Skills Able to interact and communicate effectively with good spoken / written skills in English. Able to communicate and liaise with internal and external suppliers and counterpart. Other Requirements Able to work independently with strong leadership quality to lead project teams & manages projects from product ideas to mass production. Should be trained on Process / technology transfer standard per corporate quality system. Should have the knowledge in project management tools. e.g. Microsoft Project. Should participate in project meeting and attend training to acquire experience.
