Key Responsibilities: Routing and Switching (LAN/WAN): Implement and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, Cisco ECDN, Cisco WAAS, load balancers, MPLS, VPN, and ACI products. Research and prepare proposed network changes before implementation. Provide critical support and information to L1 and L2 teams during outages. Coordinate with vendors for issue resolution and network enhancements. Ensure high-quality performance of all network activities. Utilize ITSM tools for Incident, Change, and Asset Management. Network Security : Deploy and manage firewalls, including Palo Alto, Checkpoint, ASA 55xx series, FTD, and Panorama. Test new network setups before migration to production. Plan and schedule project deadlines with Project Managers. Implement network migrations for firewalls and load balancers. Maintain security documentation and technical drawings. Research new designs and solutions to address network issues. Cloud Networking (AWS/Azure): Implement and manage network solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure). Ensure seamless integration of cloud and on-premise networks. Technical Experience: 5-8 years of hands-on experience in LAN/WAN routing and switching, including Cisco routers, switches, Nexus, ACI, and multivendor switches. Expertise in Wireless, load balancers, SDN, and various network technologies. Experience with wireless bridging techniques (PTP, PTMP) and wireless standards (802.11 d/e/g/h/j/n/s). Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, and Asset Management). Good grasp of network security, vulnerability and lifecycle management Knowledge of Proxy/PAC file architecture. CCNA certification preferred. Professional Attributes: Ability to work in a 24x7 environment and handle on-call support. Strong understanding of SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs. Team player with the ability to work independently and stay self-motivated. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
