Responsibilities: Responsible for the overall accounting function that includes preparation of financial statements, financial planning & analysis, budgeting, cash flow and management accounts. Manage & lead the accounting & finance team to ensure the day-to-day operation of overall accounting & financial activities. Manage the Accounting System Re-engineering, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and Inventory Function. Able to review and interpret on balance sheet and monthly financial statement. Involve in directing and implementing financial and accounting systems, policies and procedures that contribute to good commercial management of the Company's business and ensure good internal controls are in place. Assist in reviewing the areas of cash and banking management, banking facilities, foreign exchange exposure and working capital management. Ensure monthly financial and management accounts are prepared in a timely manner and in compliance with statutory requirements and relevant Financial Reporting Standards (FRS). Providing coaching and mentoring for subordinates Attend to any ad-hoc tasks / analysis requested by the management from time to time. Requirements: Possess a MICPA / ACCA / CIMA/ CPA / Degree in Accountancy qualification and a member of MIA. At least 10 years working experience in accountancy with minimal 4 to 5 years in holding managerial capacity in a large organization. Possess strong analytical skills in financial, variance analysis and management reporting. Able to work independently and under pressure to take up challenges. Has strong initiative to look into issues and propose for counter measure. Exhibits high level of analytical aptitude and with the ability to highlight any key issues to the management. A good team leader with the ability to inspire a team or group towards common goals Strong financial analysis skills, problem solving and interpersonal skills Familiar with Financial Reporting Standards (FRS).
