Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Head/Senior Manager of Finance & Administration at Gopeng Berhad, located in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. The role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounts and finance department, ensuring efficient and effective financial processes. You will also be responsible for financial reporting and compliance, financial analysis and planning, strategic decision-making, corporate finance, and risk management. Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership Oversee the daily operations of the accounts and finance department. Ensure efficient and effective financial processes. Financial Reporting & Compliance Ensure timely and accurate completion of all financial reporting activities. Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard financial data and assets. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards. Financial Analysis & Planning Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts. Participate in the budgeting process with different departments. Strategic Decision-Making and Corporate Finance Provide financial analysis and insights to inform strategic decision-making. Collaborate with other departments to translate financial information into actionable insights. Research current economic trends and financial regulations. Handle corporate finance functions, including fundraising exercises as required. Risk Management & Communication Identify and assess potential financial risks, developing strategies to mitigate them. Communicate effectively with management regarding financial performance, risks, and opportunities. Prepare clear and concise financial reports and presentations for stakeholders. Maintain good communication with external stakeholders and parties. Qualifications Professional qualifications (ACCA/CPA/ICAEW) and membership in MIA. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior accounting and corporate finance role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting tools. In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
