- Bachelor's degree or diploma with experience in the field and with minimum
- Candidate with sheet metal knowledge & understanding will be an added advantage.
- Good communication skills.
- GD&T knowledge is added advantage.
- Understand ISO 9001 and 14001 will be an added advantage.
- Ensure subordinate carry out inspection (FA or outgoing) within timeline.
- Carry out continuous improvement activity within or inter departments.
- Window to customer on quality related issue. Ensure no delay in response or feedback.
- Follow up and audit CAPA effectiveness & conduct quality review meeting with SQE (if supplier issue) or internal (production and engineering).
- Establish quality check sheet and/or work instruction for subordinates to follow.
- Conduct training to subordinates and ensure skill matrix of subordinates are refreshed and updated.
- Monitor outgoing or FA performance and drive for improvement (worst hitters).
- Follow up on customer return - collection, rework and return. Reply corrective/ preventive action to customer and monitor new lot quality performance.
- Conduct production line audit and identify areas for improvement.
- Work with NPI / engineering for new product development study, including inspection, FMEA etc.
- Liaise with customer for on-site FA buyoff, routine audit, and/or dispatch RE or technician for rework at customer premises.
- Identify root cause(s) and work with production or technical team for improvement (aim for poke yake or error proofing solution).
- Establish internal quality standards or catalogues as guidelines for subordinates and operation team.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by superior when IT is deemed necessary from time to time.
