Job Responsibility Prepare detailed cost estimates for fire-rated doors, hardware, installation, transport and testing based on drawings and door schedules Develop project budgets and quotatiosn Prepare tender documents and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Draft, review, and manage contracts with clients and subcontractors Handle variation orders (e.g., specification changes or quantity increases). Monitor project expenditure and compare against budget. Verify and approve subcontractor progress claims. Measure quantities from construction drawings. Liaise with project managers, architects, and contractors on door specifications, installation sequence, and site requirements. Job Requirements Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. Minimum 2 years relevant QS experience (experience in doors, windows, or interior fit-out industry preferred). Knowledge of Malaysian construction and fire safety regulations (CIDB, BOMBA certification process). Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and door schedules Familiar with BOQ preparation, contract administration, and cost control processes Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and relevant QS software. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Detail-oriented, numerically accurate, and good time management. Able to work independently and in a team.
