Job description Role Overview: We are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support our team in keeping projects on track, on budget, and well-documented. You will work closely with experienced professionals, assisting with cost estimates, procurement and site measurements, while building the skills and knowledge to progress in your surveying career. Key Responsibilities: Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets and review tender documents. Pre-qualification and compile tender list for tender. Prepare Interim Valuation recommendations, Variation Order claim and taking off quantities for contractors' payment to ensure their claim is correct. Support in the procurement process, including issuing enquiries and reviewing supplier quotations. Evaluate and prepare payment recommendations for consultant claims to ensure their claim is correct. Assessment of variation order claim by contractor and settlement of Final Accounts to close the projects had ended. Monitor project costs and prepare interim valuations. Help with contract administration and variations. Liaise with project managers, engineers and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery. Support the preparation of final accounts. Perform any other job functions that may be assigned by the Superior. Requirements: Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline. Strong numerical and analytical skills.
