Planner Supply Chain Executive

• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin to liaise with associates.
• 2-5 years experience in demand forecasting/planning with the international and local team.
• Experience in Project management across different functions/other countries.
• Planning / Supply Chain / Materials control or any related/supporting fields is a must.
• Knowledge of logistics, procurement, and inventory management principles knowledge will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to analyze current process and work on the process improvement.
• Good knowledge in MS Office, especially in Excel, Presentation (Able to do data analysis & explain).
• Advantage if have experience in ERP systems: SAP.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously and independently.
• Ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships.
• Excellent communication, self-motivation and good interpersonal skills.

• Deploy demand planning processes across the region and be the first point of contact for regional and local entities.
• Planning for supply and demand with right assumption to minimize logistics cost, safety stock, monitoring and continuous improvement to regional and local business cycle.
• Propose forecasts based on inventory rules according to the demand and market trends.
• Continuously challenge for effective forecast model with relevant data analysis and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
• Sensible and flexible in stock planning.
• Manage backlog, analyze and resolve transactional issues that may improve on time shipments to avoid additional charges.
• Work closely with operation team to ensure on-time delivery.
• Work closely with internal and external parties (forwarding agent) to ensure on-time custom clearance and delivery.
• Manage dispute, continuous driving quality performance of vendors, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Able to handle export and import shipments.
• Handle ad-hoc task as required by superior time to time.
