Opportunity to work with a rapidly expanding manufacturing organisation and pioneering with the rest of the teamThe Production planner will be the focal point for Planning activities for the operations. This person will be working closely with the Operation team to help drive efficiency of the company. Amongst the many responsibilities some are listed below:

Address planning issues and ensure accurate transformation of quotations into orders for paper and machines.
Generate warehouse and production orders, determining appropriate sizes based on dimensions, weight, and transportation considerations.
Consolidate sales and service orders, process changes, and respond to internal inquiries.
Support the Master Production Scheduler and maintain high service levels for various inventory items.
Oversee demand planning, forecasting, and new converter planning, evaluating key performance indicators (KPIs).
Resolve daily operational issues and collaborate with other departments for business growth planning.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain planning team.
Maintain flexibility to undertake additional duties as assigned by superiors.

At least Degree in Engineering or any related field
At least 5 years of planning experience in manufacturing setting
Independent and team player
Hands on experience
Proficient in Malay and English, added advantage with understanding in Mandarin
Proficient in ERP, Excel
