Senior Production Planner

• Develop production schedules and plans to ensure that manufacturing operations are optimized for efficiency and meet customer demand.
• Collaborate with production managers to prioritize production orders based on factors like customer requirements, resource availability, and production timelines.

• Forecast demand for raw materials and finished goods to ensure that adequate inventory levels are maintained while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Implement inventory control measures such as reorder points, safety stock levels, and inventory tracking systems to optimize inventory levels.

• Allocate resources such as manpower, equipment, and machinery to support production schedules and meet production targets.
• Monitor resource utilization and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs through better resource allocation and utilization.

• Coordinate with various departments such as production, procurement, logistics, and quality assurance to ensure smooth production flow and timely delivery of products.
• Resolve any production-related issues or bottlenecks that may arise during the manufacturing process to minimize disruptions and delays.

• Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory levels, and material requirements.

• Diploma/Bachelor Degree in any field.
• Has experience in production planning.
• Good communication & presentation skills.
• Candidate from the Food or chemical manufacturing industry is an added advantage.
