Job description Works extensively with customers along with appropriate internal and external resources (e.g. Cisco account teams, partners) on the strategy / deployment / optimization of Cisco services and solutions. Takes leadership role in execution of delivery projects. Improves solutions and methods developed in the field for use to the wider practice (knowledge sharing). Creates, reviews and approves project deliverables e.g. Design recommendations, High Level Design, Low Level Design, Implementation/Change Management Plans. Builds and/or leverage test environments as required to resolve highly complex problems and compatibility issues. Leverages software skills and tools to configure, deploy and/or troubleshoot Cisco products and solutions. Contributes in the development of digital intellectual capital (e.g. scripts, digital signatures). Acts as a focal point for problem resolution for assigned customer engagements. Assures proper and quick resolution of complex customer problems across and appropriate range of technologies. Competencies: Requires BS/BE/Btech degree or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in a similar job role Strong understanding of networking fundamentals Any Security related certification (CCNP-Security, CCIE, etc) is preferred and you have a drive for continuous learning Mandatory skill: Experienced in design and/or deployment of Security solutions based on Cisco NG Firewall (ASA and NGFW) Mandatory skill: Good documentation skills on Microsoft Word templates for design, implementation and migration plan Competent experience the network security technologies: traditional firewalls, Next generation firewalls, VPNs, AAA, Cloud Security, Email Security, Endpoint Security, SIEM, etc Excellent understanding in a wide range of Security protocols including TCP/IP, encryption protocols, application layer protocols, network link layer protocols, device network management protocols Ability to contribute to technical forums, content creation, whitepapers, etc Ability to contribute towards delivery readiness and standardisation of deliverables Ability to identify areas of automation in deliverables and business Decisions impact the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of own team and other teams whose work activities are closely related, including multi-functional teams
