The client is one of the foremost telecommunications company in Malaysia and is seeking a Senior Specialist Talent Acquisition ( Senior Manager level equivalent to external) The Senior Specialist Talent Acquisition will lead the end-to-end talent acquisition strategy for selected divisions in the telco, ensuring the attraction, selection, and retention of top-tier talent. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of technical talent landscapes, and the ability to drive digital recruitment initiatives . Talent Acquisition Strategy & Execution Support the development and execution of recruitment strategies to attract top talent across key telco functions, including technology, network. Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and plan for critical roles. Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle to ensure timely, high-quality hiring outcomes. Employer Branding & Talent Engagement Contribute to strengthening the company's employer brand within the telco industry and broader talent market. Coordinate recruitment marketing efforts through social media, career events, and talent campaigns. Support inclusive hiring practices and initiatives to improve workforce diversity. Process Optimization & Technology Leverage recruitment technologies and platforms (e.g. ATS, AI screening tools) to streamline hiring workflows. Monitor key recruitment metrics and identify areas for continuous process improvement. Ensure recruitment practices are compliant with labor laws and aligned with telco industry norms. Stakeholder Collaboration & Team Support Supervise and guide a small team of recruiters or recruitment coordinators. Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on hiring priorities. Liaise with external recruitment partners, vendors, and university career offices. Key Requirements Minimum 10 years of experience in recruitment, with at least 3 years in a senior or team leadership role. Prior experience hiring for roles in telecommunications, technology, or related industries. Familiarity with digital recruitment tools, platforms, and data-driven hiring approaches. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance operational processes. Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capabilities.
