We are seeking a senior Solution Architect with deep, hands-on expertise across traditional enterprise infrastructure, modern AWS cloud environments, and secure networking. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, documenting, and guiding the implementation of high-availability (HA), resilient, and secure systems. You will be a key technical leader, translating complex business requirements into robust architectural blueprints that leverage a wide array of technologies. A security-first mindset and experience in the demanding finance or banking sector are highly desirable.Day-to-Day Responsibilities​
- Hybrid System Architecture: Architect solutions that seamlessly integrate traditional infrastructure (Linux, enterprise servers from IBM/Dell/HP, VMware virtualization, SAN storage) with AWS cloud services (VPC, Transit Gateway, EKS, RDS).
- Secure Network Design: Architect and implement secure, high-performance network solutions connecting on-premise data centers and cloud environments. This includes designing secured network infrastructure over the Internet, IPsec VPNs and MPLS technologies.
- Resilience and High Availability: Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant, and distributed systems, ensuring they meet stringent performance, security, and business continuity requirements.
- Technology Integration: Guide the integration of open-source technologies (Java Spring Boot/Cloud, Redis, Kafka) and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus) into cohesive platform and application architectures.
- Architectural Design & Visualization: Design and meticulously document end-to-end system architectures for complex hybrid environments. Create and maintain detailed diagrams (e.g., system context, data flow, network topology, deployment views) to clearly communicate designs to all stakeholders.
- Security by Design: Embed deep information security principles, threat modeling, and compliance considerations into all architectural designs from inception.
- Hands-on Leadership: Hands-on guidance in Linux administration & Shell, Kubernetes, and scripting (Java,Python) to prototype solutions, validate designs, and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Governance & Standards: Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to establish and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and best practices.
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated track record as a Solution Architect designing complex, large-scale hybrid environments.
- Enterprise Infrastructure Expertise: Strong, hands-on knowledge of:
- Linux Administration
- Enterprise Servers (IBM, Dell, HP)
- VMware vSphere Virtualization
- SAN Storage Concepts
- Database Management (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Advanced Networking: Deep expertise in networking principles, firewalls, and routing, with specific, demonstrable experience in designing secured network infrastructure over the internet, IPsec VPN, and MPLS.
- AWS Cloud Proficiency: Extensive experience architecting solutions with core AWS services, including VPC, Transit Gateway, EKS, RDS, IAM, and S3.
- Open-Source & Application Stack: Strong familiarity with Java Spring Boot/Cloud, Redis, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Core Architectural Skills:
- Verifiable experience designing HA and resilient distributed systems.
- Proficiency in creating clear, detailed system architecture diagrams.
- A profound understanding of information security principles and practices.
- Hands-on Technical Skills: Excellent proficiency in Shell (Bash) and Python scripting for automation, coupled with practical skills in Linux and Kubernetes administration.
