A manufacturing company in Malaysia is currently looking for a Recruitment Manager to join the exciting team. Our client's HQ is in Taiwan where they manufacture consumer & innovative home-related products. Malaysia is one of the most important markets in SEA where two factory plants are based in Malaysia.
You will be leading the Talent Acquisition team for direct labor and indirect labor while overseeing the recruitment activities and processes.What you'll do:
  • Lead the Talent Acquisition Team. Partner with the team in recruitment best practice and provide relevant guidance and coaching on recruitment matters.
  • Lead IDL and DL recruitment process including sourcing, screening, shortlisting and interview the candidates, performed detailed reference checks and pre on-boarding
  • To identify recruitment solutions to attract quality and secured potential candidates
  • To fulfil the position of confirmation annual work force budget
  • To execute the organizational plan, design and work force planning including strategy implementation by the Management
  • Control each Department work force based on current company establishment and Business Development requirement
  • Fulfill department manpower demand using various kind of recruitment channels.
  • Strengthen DL Recruitment channels through Direct Hire, Local Agency Company (for Local and Foreign DL), Foreign Agency Company for DL Foreign hiring
  • Organized and attend external job fair organized by government and private agencies
  • Liaising with Universities, Top TVET institutions and schools to attract potential candidates
  • Agencies management by monitoring daily absenteeism and turnover rate for weekly and monthly agencies review meeting
  • Any ad-hoc assignment assigned by the Immediate Superior
​​​​ What do you need to have to succeed in this role:
  • ​​​Candidate must possess at least Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Human Resource Management/Psychology/Business Admin or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of working experience in the related field
  • Computer Literate and familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Team Leader and able to work under pressure to meet the deadline
  • Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia and English. Mandarin speaker may apply for the position
  • Able to start work immediately is a plus
  • Able to work and travel at 2 plant sites when needed
  • Working experience in the Manufacturing or Electrical/ Electronics industry is an added advantage
